Ian Smith is a nationally accredited mediator and an experienced facilitator, working with individuals and organisations to resolve conflict and disputes.   This work focuses, in particular – but not exclusively, on working with all areas of the education sector – school, vocational and higher education, the not-for-profit sector, and government (local, state, federal).

The emphasis in this work is on partnering with organisations  – seeking to understand disputes conflicts and problems before working to facilitate solutions.   The focus is not only on resolving the matters immediately at hand, but working also to build sustainable post-intervention relationships.

Ian is a founder and partner of the Eduresolutions group - working with educational institutions to address and manage complaints, conflicts, disputes and work relationships.  He is experienced in working with staff, students and parents – and can undertake mediation and facilitation with and between any combinations of these parties.
